New version of phoenixNAP Client Portal (PNCP) brings advanced security and flexibility to phoenixNAP clients.
Phoenix, AZ, January 17, 2017 – PhoenixNAP®, a global IT services provider offering cloud, dedicated server, colocation, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) technology solutions, today released the new version of its infrastructure management platform to enhance access, security and flexibility options for its clients. PhoenixNAP Client Portal (PNCP) 3.1 comes with a set of new features that further phoenixNAP clients’ abilities to manage their virtual machines, bare metal servers or public cloud services securely and easily.
“PNCP 3.1 is another fresh and exciting release by our development team,” says Ian McClarty, President at phoenixNAP. “The latest version includes an array of upgrades designed to further enhance our clients’ IT infrastructure management experience. With the improved access options, security controls and the newly restructured megamenu, the challenge of managing complex infrastructures becomes much easier to overcome.”
The intuitive online interface of PNCP 3.1 offers greater capabilities for the administration of IT assets, account monitoring and service management. On top of features such as Veeam Cloud Connect Repository Management and Two Factor Authentication that were introduced in PNCP 2.0, the portal now offers the following innovations:
- Mega-Menu restructure for a more intuitive navigation;
- Upgraded Two-Factor authentication options;
- Role-Based Access (RBAC) functionality that helps manage user role and access permissions;
- IPMI Html 5 Support which enables enhanced consoling of dedicated servers.
As a complimentary service available to all phoenixNAP clients and resellers, PNCP provides console access to bare metal servers and different public cloud services, advanced device tagging and VM management options, as well as the ability to view invoices and store payment methods. Each new version of PNCP brings advanced abilities for clients to manage key components that support their IT infrastructure.
“Delivering on the promise of our continuous efforts of improving infrastructure management functionality with phoenixNAP Control Panel (PNCP),” adds William Bell, phoenixNAP V.P. of Product Development, “in this iteration of PNCP release we have expanded RBAC functionality and, on top of that, we brought the ability to granularly manage Two Factor Authentication for organizations and their individual users.”
