InfoSec (Information Security) is an umbrella term for various practices, tools, and procedures companies use to protect business information. The goal of InfoSec is to prevent any unauthorized use, modification, destruction, or inspection of data. The three primary principles of InfoSec (often called the CIA triad) are Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.
