Xeon 6 is Intel’s latest generation of data center CPUs, designed to deliver superior performance with more cores, flexible microarchitecture, enhanced memory bandwidth, and advanced I/O capabilities. Through phoenixNAP’s partnership with HPE, Bare Metal Cloud allows businesses of all sizes to access dedicated servers powered by Intel Xeon 6731E processors on demand and benefit from this cutting-edge CPU technology at a lower price point.

Once you create and validate your Bare Metal Cloud account, you will be able to spin up your pre-configured server powered by Intel Xeon 6700-series CPUs with E-cores in about 60 seconds if you deploy it with Ubuntu Jammy. If you choose a different OS, you can have your server up and running in about 10 minutes.

By default, your HPE ProLiant DL320 Gen12 Bare Metal Cloud server comes with Ubuntu 24.04. However, you can also choose other Ubuntu LTS versions, CentOS, Debian, Windows, Proxmox, or ESXi during deployment. For more specialized OS or networking requirements, you can install a custom operating system or enable VPC-style networking with Netris OS.

Bare Metal Cloud instances with Intel Xeon 6731E CPUs come with either 4 or 8 TB of high-performance local NVMe drives. To scale out your storage capacity without deploying new servers, the platform also offers near-instant access to all-flash Network File Storage or S3-compatible Object Storage.

If you need flexibility or want to test the platform and validate your proof of concept, you can consume Bare Metal Cloud on a pay-as-you-go basis. Alternatively, monthly and long-term reservation options are at your disposal to help you cut cloud costs by up to 30%.
